Leave Complexity Behind

Microsoft SPLA

Offer software services in the cloud.

Build your own infrastructure and earn more revenue, more margin and own your customer relationship.

With the Microsoft Service Provider Licence Agreement (SPLA) Program, Service Providers can license Microsoft® products which are installed on their own servers, and use them to provide software services and hosted applications; all accessed by the end customer over the Internet.

Typical business partners that enter into the Microsoft SPLA Program are web hosting, application service providers, ISV’s with hosted applications, messaging and collaboration service providers, (such as hosted email), and outsourced and platform infrastructure providers.

SPLA licenses are monthly non-perpetual licenses that can be used during the agreement’s term. The Service Provider is the licensee, not the end customer.

Provide flexibility in the cloud.

Customers benefit from a flexible hybrid cloud environment by having greater choice, simplified licensing and reduced upfront expenditure.

As well as applications always being up-to-date with the latest product version, customers will receive enterprise class reliability at a fraction of the cost, with the ability to scale as needed while only paying for what they use. They can also easily migrate their existing volume licenses to a hosted environment (License Mobility through Software Assurance) with zero start-up costs as they’ll pay through a monthly subscription model.
